Plex uSDM displays

 overview
 The Plex uSDM displays are the answer for everyone who wants a cost-effective, yet professional solution for displaying control unit values and / or additional sensors. Clearly visible warning messages can be stored for all parameters.

 connection
 The Plex display can be connected to all common aftermarket ECUs such as Link or MoTeC, but also via OBD 2. For common vehicles, the OBD2 communication protocols are continuously updated so that vehicle-specific values can be displayed in addition to the usual OBD2 parameters. With the Toyota GT86, in addition to the OBD parameters, parameters of the camshaft adjustment, knock detection and much more can be set. Show. Up to 64 parameters and flags (status) are available on the display. The CAN bus is completely freely programmable with which we can stream all conceivable parameters from the LINK or MoTeC ECU (or any other CAN-capable device) to the Plex display with a little programming work. Of course you can also try it yourself.

 Versions
 The Plex uSDM is available in two versions. Compared to the uSDM 100, the uSDM 102 has an additional 32mb data logger and has four universal inputs for sensors and 2 K-Type (EGT) inputs that are usually used for measuring exhaust gas temperatures. The data logs can be evaluated with the powerful Plex PDA-Win software. These sensor values can be sent to a LINK or MoTec ECU via the CAN bus and used there for coordination and protection functions.

 Alarms
 Numerous alarms can be programmed with the Plex software and up to 16 pages can be set up as required. In the event of an alarm, the entire display flashes yellow, the bright LED on the display flashes and a text message is displayed. If the display is installed in the driver's field of vision, the warning message cannot be overlooked. This is also output if the alarm parameter is not listed on the current display page.

 Display
 Plex products are designed for use in professional motorsport. The OLED displays can also be read clearly from the side and in direct sunlight. The housing is made of aluminum and the wiring harness is made with Spec 55 cables and Raychem DR-25 cables - the standard in professional motorsport.
