Plex SDM displays

overviewThe Plex SDM displays are the answer for anyone who wants a cost-effective, yet professional solution for displaying ECU values and/or additional sensors. Clearly visible warning messages can be stored for all parameters. The design on the display can be extensively configured and designed. Various displays, text, lists and other elements can be freely placed and colored using the Plex Device Manager software.
 
Connection
The Plex display can be connected to all common aftermarket ECUs such as Link or MoTeC, but also via OBD 2. For common vehicles, the OBD2 communication protocols are constantly updated so that vehicle-specific values can also be displayed in addition to the usual OBD2 parameters. In the Toyota GT86, in addition to the OBD parameters, parameters for camshaft adjustment, knock detection and much more can also be set. show. Up to 512 parameters and flags (status) are available on the display. The CAN bus is completely freely programmable, which means that with a little programming work we can transfer all conceivable parameters from the LINK or MoTeC ECU (or any other CAN-enabled device) to the Plex display. Characteristics
The Plex SDM-700 is Plex's flagship device. By far most functions can be displayed and implemented on its 7" display. It has a 1GB data logger and 8 universal inputs for sensors. The SDM-700 has a GPS and 3-axis acceleration sensor , to record speeds etc. The data logs can be evaluated with the powerful Plex PDA-Win software. These sensor values can be sent to a LINK or MoTec ECU via CAN bus and used there for tuning and protective functions.

Add-ons
The SDM-550 is also available with a PowerTrack 4-button controller or ProPad 4-button controller.

Alarms
With the Plex software, numerous alarms can be programmed and up to 48 pages can be set up as desired. When an alarm occurs, the entire display flashes yellow, the bright LED on the display flashes, and a text message is displayed. If the display is installed within the driver's field of vision, the warning message cannot be overlooked. This is also output if the alarm parameter is not listed on the current display page.

Plex products are designed for use in professional motorsports. This means that the OLED displays can be read crystal clear even from the side and in direct sunlight. The housing is made of solid milled aluminum. There are two Autosport plugs on the back.
