Maptec MoTeC M1 Mitsubishi Evo X Plugin Package

The MoTeC M1 series motor control units are already in their basic form among the best on the market. We have developed these control units especially for the Mitsubishi Evo X. In our own firmware, further useful functions have been added to the tried and tested MoTeC GPR and GPR-P firmware packages. Thus, the original control unit is completely replaced and the Maptec M1 ECU is fully integrated into the vehicle CAN bus. In this way, a lot of data received from the original CAN bus and recorded in the M1 data logger can be used for various control strategies. A highlight of our Mitsubishi Evo X-specific firmware is the integrated control and regulation for the center differential ACD. The Evo X has a separate ACD control unit as standard. If the ACD is connected directly to the Maptec M1 ECU (not mandatory), the original control unit becomes superfluous and can be removed. Thanks to the Maptec M1 ACD control and the extensive data logging, the ACD can be tailored specifically and optimally to the respective requirement, depending on the throttle position, G-forces, speed and many other parameters. Incidentally, automatic double-declutching is now also possible with the Maptec firmware.
 The Maptec M1 Plug Package is available with the M130 or M150 ECU. The only difference is the hardware, hence the number of inputs and outputs. The M150 is required for an extensive setup with additional sensors, control of the center differential, transmission pumps, rear axle oil pumps, etc.
 Certainly not cheap at first glance, but if you calculate the cost of an aftermarket control unit for the central differential (this is integrated in the Maptec firmware), the costs are quickly put into perspective. Not to mention the extensive functions and all the possibilities that the MoTeC M1 platform offers.
