The original Nissan trigger sensors are susceptible and only report the current camshaft position very imprecisely to the engine control unit. This leads to a deviation from the ideal ignition point, which can lead to knocking, misfiring and engine damage. Increasing age and wear and tear make the situation even worse. We have already seen cases in which the camshaft toothing was so blocked that the ignition point varied by 10 ° CA!
A fluctuating ignition point leads to a significant loss of power, can make tuning the engine more difficult or can even cause captial engine damage.
We have therefore developed a cost-efficient and precise trigger kit for vehicles that are equipped with a freely programmable control unit. A 36-1 trigger disk is mounted on the original crankshaft pulley. The Nissan CAS sensor is replaced by the Maptec camshaft sensor. By mounting the camshaft signal transmitter directly on the camshaft, the problem of worn camshaft teeth is completely eliminated.
Note: This product only works in combination with a freely programmable control unit!

The original crankshaft pulley must be installed by us or by a mechanical engineering company for the assembly of the crankshaft trigger wheel.
