Maptec WRC 4-14 CAN (paddle shift) steering wheel

 The newly developed Maptec WRC 4-14 CAN steering wheel leaves nothing to be desired! With two two-way thumb switches, 12 buttons and four 12 position rotary switches and the optional paddle shifters, numerous vehicle functions can be controlled. The driver can concentrate fully on driving and has both hands on the steering wheel. This gives the driver the necessary security and doesn't let him lose his rhythm even in the toughest situations on the racetrack.
 All signals are transmitted via a programmable CAN BUS. The enclosed ring cable is correspondingly slim. The CAN bus can be programmed using a USB-CAN adapter. Unless otherwise stated, we deliver the steering wheel with a CAN configuration for 500 kbit / s transmission rate. The steering wheel works plug and play with all Link ECUs from G4X.  The optional paddle shifters have an excellent tactical pressure point. The actuation force can be adjusted to varying degrees using the magnets provided. The IP67 protected switches have been tested for over 2 million actuation cycles, and they still functioned perfectly after the test.
 The suede steering wheel measures 350mm in diameter and therefore offers optimal grip. If gloves are used, the steering wheel will stay nice and easy to grip for years. By default, the steering wheel is delivered unlabelled.
 For the rotary switches there are stickers for positions 0-11 and -5 to +6. Optionally, we can produce lettering for you according to customer requirements. A version for SIM racing is available on request. Please contact us to discuss the requirements for the Sim wheelbase you are using.
